RING STYLES

In this section, you can explore various damascus patterns as well as possible ring shapes. I can create a ring in any combination of shape and pattern based on your preferences. That said, some patterns work better with certain shapes. I’ll be happy to help you choose and recommend a good combination if needed.

Please keep in mind that even with the same patterns, each damascus structure is slightly different.  Just like fingerprints, no two are exactly alike. The final texture may vary, but it will still reflect the same overall type of damascus pattern.

It’s also worth noting that macro photos, which show the pattern in extreme close-up, can be misleading. Patterns that look fine and delicate in the photos may be truly “micro” in real life, while those that seem bold and intense up close don’t actually look rough or overly extravagant when worn on the finger.

I’ll be gradually adding video clips of individual patterns to this section, so you can browse and compare damascus design online.

Each ring is made to order. The photos shown are examples of pieces I’ve previously made for other clients.

This section is intended for selecting a pattern or shape only. For all additional information, please refer to the “Ring Guide” section, which I highly recommend reading carefully. Prices can be found in the “Pricing” section.

WAVE

The Wave pattern is one of the finest designs I use. The texture consists of very delicate lines spiraling diagonally around the ring, highlighted by one bold, gently wavy line running through the center. On wider rings, the central line has enough space to wrap around twice, making the pattern appear more prominent. This is a very subtle texture, which may, under certain conditions, affect its resistance to wear. For more details, see the “Ring Guide” section.

WOOD

The Wood pattern, also known as “Twisted Wood,” is a moderately bold design resembling wood grain. The main lines are clearly visible even from a distance and are complemented by fine circular lines. This pattern has a pleasant look and highlights the natural beauty of wild damascus textures.

It is similar to the Wave pattern, but the lines are thicker, more spread out, and forged more deeply. It still appears very delicate, but compared to the Wave pattern, it offers slightly better resistance to wear.

For more information, see the “Ring Guide” section.

STAR

The Star pattern is moderately bold, featuring fine lines that gradually thicken and cross on opposite sides of the ring to form a star-like motif. In some areas, stronger wavy “S” lines may also appear. On rings with a larger diameter, more than two stars can sometimes be visible.

The pattern feels light and “dreamlike,” with strong star symbolism.

For more information about the material, durability, and more, see the “Ring Guide” section.

SPARK

The Spark pattern is one of the boldest designs I use. It features a repeating jagged, “spark-like” motif that transitions into an “eye” shape or an X on opposite sides of the ring. The lines are clearly visible even from a distance.

This pattern has a strong and striking appearance, but it’s not overly extravagant. Thanks to the thickness of its individual layers, it’s also one of the most durable patterns I offer.

For more information about the material, durability, and more, see the “Ring Guide” section.

RIVER

The River pattern is one of the boldest designs I use. Its texture, resembling wild waves and rapids, is clearly visible even from a distance. It gives off a strong, energetic feel while still looking natural.

Thanks to the thickness of its individual layers, this pattern is also among the most durable ones I offer.

For more information about the material, durability, and more, see the “Ring Guide” section.

RING SHAPES

With rings, you can choose both the profile and the overall shape.

I usually work with either a so-called “half-round”/domed crosscut, or with a flat profile. But the shape doesn’t have to be a standard circle – it can be “triangular”, shaped like a figure-eight/infinity shape, or even a “rounded square.” It can feature a pointed tip, a sharp edge, or a forged-in rivet, for example. And if you enjoy unique jewelry, we can always come up with something new I haven’t done before. If your idea fits my style and is technically feasible, I’m happy to discuss it. 🙂

Below you can see examples of different ring shapes. Some photos show older, non-damascus rings – I no longer offer those, but I don’t currently have damascus versions photographed in the square shape. Once I find them, or take new ones, I’ll update and expand this section. Hopefully, this will be enough to get started.
